Dear Members of the Board, Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants:

As the Board is meeting this weekend. I wish to raise an important matter that I trust is on the top of this weekend’s meeting’s agenda.

The recent allegations made public by Cecil Rotenberg against the Chairman of CSIC demand that he resign until the matters alleged are cleared up by a panel independent of the current CSIC organization.

It is my respectful opinion that you have a fiduciary duty to the Corporation of CSIC, to all the Members that you regulate, to act immediately to insure that the Chairman of our Regulatory body is not perceived as being part of a firm where the activities have caused suspicion for wrongdoing.

This is especially important at this time, when the subsidiary of CSIC, CMI, continues to publish bulletins attempting to reassure members CSIC is transparent, accountable, has good governance, and should be allowed to be reappointed by the Minister as the Regulatory body of our Industry. In spite of your press releases and published poll results that all is well behind the secured doors at MunichRe, if a public meeting were held, the Board would see that is this view is not shared by most members.
