Subject: Dear Members of the Board:

I am writing to you on an URGENT basis as the result of a Blackmail attempt which is being made upon me resulting from an e-mail received from the CSIC Website. The e-mail received is as follows:
A visitor at www.csic-scci.ca asked us to contact you.
Their email: forgetforgiveforever@gmail.com Their name: Forget Forgive Forever Their message:

Subject: Ontario Discipline Summaries on the LSUC website.
This is a friendly message although you may not appreciate it as such.
From time to time in life one could knowingly or unknowingly have acted inappropriately to the extent of causing harm to other people. One may regret for having done so afterward, yet one may not have the courage to offer a deserving apology to those that have been harm.
If you have previously made open statements and caused harm to other individuals, please consider offering them an apology, and take back the words that had been spread out by you.

To live a happy life requires one to forget and forgive things at times. The writer wants to live a happy life as well, and it will forget and forgive the June 22, 1989 disposition as if it had never existed.
A friend
I wish to have the Board secure the Server of CSIC forthwith until I have had an opportunity to seek a Warrant for the Seizure of the Server to determine who sent this e-mail to me.
The date of June 22, 1989 is a rather tragic date. The Mother of my wife died on that date and I resigned from the Law Society of Upper Canada. The “disposition” which I am being told will be released contains my medical records and the only person who had access to these was the former Chairman, John Ryan.

Given the events of the past few days, I must inform both the Board and CSIC that this threat and blackmail is causing both myself and my family extreme anxiety and damages.
I am advised that a Warrant can be obtained to search the premises of CSIC, namely the Server, since the e-mail comes from that Server and the contents amount to a threat of blackmail.
Please consider this your good and sufficient notice that I wish the Server at CSIC to be held as evidence in an attempt to commit a criminal offence against myself.
I would ask that the Chairman of CSIC, Nigel Thomson, take whatever steps he or his lawyers deem are required under law to preserve evidence in this matter and, should he fail, I will be asking for substantial damages as the result of what has happened tonight in my home.

Please govern yourselves accordingly,
Bruce Perreault, B.A., LL.B., K.H.S., CCIC
